The closure of any year is a time to not only reflect on what has transpired, but to see what lies ahead for the new year. There are many ways in which we can reflect on how it has done either good or bad to us, but what is truly important is how we move forward. The focus is always to share in how the ways we moved forward this year have made us braver, stronger, & wiser than before.
Clients that I meet with share a deeper version of themselves. It’s one of the requirements for knowing not only the direction that they want to go, but focuses on the problem that they are trying to solve, regardless of its type. This foundation of trust not only is prevalent in a coaching relationship, but also solidifies the commitment that each of us need to make personally. The effort that we must commit ourselves to comes from within first, then the effort to begin will take shape.
If 2024 was a tough year for you & your loved ones, what are you doing to change the direction that you were heading in? Are you:
Learning a new piece of knowledge, skill, or ability that will improve your position at your job?
Starting the business that you always had as an idea, making it become a reality with a plan to engage & foster new relationships?
Investing money in the stock market in certain commodities, establishing more wealth security for retirement, investment, or other types of financial goals?
If it is none of these options, then are you doing anything different at all? If you have not given this serious thought, it’s time to rethink the trajectory of 2025 before you even get started. It may be simpler than taking a drastic, extremely risky step that has not guarantee of helping you change.
There are numerous methodologies that can be explored, even if you believe you have checked on all available options. The way that things have always been done come from a sense of comfort, but doing the same things in the same way does not yield any different results. Additionally, doing something new does not provide instant results, especially when you are learning to adapt to change. Change is only as good as your patience in seeing it through to its maximum potential.
I ask you now. Are your goals worth the effort? Is an envisioned future capable of your powerful change of mindset worth the investment of your energy, time, & resources?
At Your Speaking Voice, we believe it is. Comment below if you want to join us in that journey to make something profound happen in 2025.
